Terms of Service - QR Code Attendance Tracking By ConvertSharp

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before installing or using the "QR Code Attendance Tracking By ConvertSharp" Google Workspace™ Add-on (the "Add-on"), provided by convertsharp.com ("ConvertSharp", "we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, activating, or using the Add-on through the Google Workspace Marketplace™ or Google Sheets™, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please uninstall and discontinue using the Add-on immediately.

2. Description of the Service

QR Code Attendance Tracking By ConvertSharp provides attendance automation inside Google Sheets™. Features include:

  • Bulk QR code image generation embedded in spreadsheet cells;
  • Automated headless Google Form creation for serverless check-ins;
  • 1-Tap mobile smartphone camera attendance verification with optional GPS coordinates;
  • Physical printable A4 ID badge PDF generation;
  • Live laptop webcam scanner sidebar and analytics dashboards.

3. License & Intellectual Property

ConvertSharp grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Add-on for your personal, educational, or commercial organizational purposes, subject to these Terms.

All intellectual property rights, trademarks, and code in the Add-on remain the exclusive property of ConvertSharp.

4. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

When using the Add-on, you agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws, including education privacy regulations (such as FERPA) and labor laws;
  • Ensure you have obtained proper consent before recording attendance or GPS coordinates of students or employees;
  • Refrain from attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or compromise the security of the Add-on or Google Workspace™ APIs;
  • Use the Add-on within reasonable API quota limits established by Google.

5. Fees & Pro Subscriptions

The Add-on offers a free tier as well as optional Pro Lifetime and subscription plans. Payments are processed securely via verified merchant gateways (such as LemonSqueezy / Stripe). License keys are non-transferable unless explicitly authorized by ConvertSharp.

6. Disclaimers of Warranties

The Add-on is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. ConvertSharp does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all third-party camera hardware.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConvertSharp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the Add-on, including loss of data or attendance records.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Add-on following any revisions constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
